ROTE 050: Joe Johnson – My Dad, Hero & Best Friend
Being an entrepreneur, you probably get to experience a lot more than your average person.
Many of which include… creating and building your own business, first hand experience of your biggest successes and failures and of course having endless possibilities and opportunities that are pretty much limitless — however, the ability to spend your time how you want is probably what most of us value the most.
Over the past 18+ years of my entrepreneur journey, I’ve been fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with my Dad. He’s not just my dad, he’s also my mentor, best friend and much more.
If you’ve never had the opportunity to meet my dad in person, this is the perfect episode for you. We’re going to be talking about everything we’ve experienced over the years, entrepreneurship vs. regular 9-5 working jobs, the importance of networking and much more… all in this MEGA 50th episode of the Rise of the Entrepreneur.
Rise of the Entrepreneur – Episode 50 with Joe Johnson
My Dad and I at Affiliate Force 2001
13 years later at my Documentary Premiere in Hollywood, CA
Joe Johnson is my dad. He’s also an engineer and consultant for the army, designing and developing army communications and electronic warfare systems… but more importantly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him by my side.
If you’ve ever had the chance to meet with me at a conference or event, you may have been lucky enough to meet with my dad as well. I’ve attended well over 20 conferences over the years and it’s probably safe to say my dad has tagged along for at least half of them. It’s been awesome and I’d have it no other way.
While Joe isn’t an entrepreneur himself, he’s still one of the smartest and successful persons I know. At the same time, it’s also important to note that Joe also has a very good grasp on how all of this internet / affiliate marketing stuff works, but hasn’t taken the leap to start a business of his own.
We’ll be talking about all of this and much more!
